Blondie | Abbott and Costello meet Blondie & Dagwood

Abbott and Costello are taking back their Sunday Night Time Slot!!! Get ready for the laughs every Sunday Night beginning May 17 as we present “The Abbott and Costello Show” just as it aired back during the glory day’s of radio!

Check for your local time slot! It’s a very special episode of the Abbott and Costello show as Bud and Lou meet Blondie and Dagwood Bumstead. Not really a part of the Blondie series of Radio Programs, but we’ve included it here because it’s such a great team up radio comedy gold!

Join Blondie, Dagwood and the gang for Blondie, the classic old-time radio comedy based on Chic Young’s long-running comic strip.

Starring Penny Singleton as Blondie and Arthur Lake as Dagwood, the radio version brought the beloved screen and comic-strip couple into living rooms across America with household chaos, workplace disasters, neighborhood misunderstandings, towering sandwiches, and Dagwood’s endless talent for turning one small problem into a full-blown family emergency.

The radio series ran from 1939 to 1950 across multiple networks, with Singleton and Lake carrying over the charm that made the Blondie film series a major hit. It is classic domestic radio comedy: fast, friendly, lighthearted, and built around the kind of everyday trouble that somehow always finds Dagwood before dinner.

B4TV presents Blondie as part of our Golden Age comedy lineup, bringing back vintage laughs, family-friendly chaos, and the kind of radio sitcom energy that helped define American broadcast comedy.
